1. Overview

This policy explains how L & L Interactive ("we", "us") handles personal information. It covers this website, the products we publish, PlatformSync and LnLMTR, and the server networks, Discord communities and live events we operate on behalf of our clients.

We are based in Australia and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Where we process information about people in the EU or UK, we do so on the bases described in section 3.

2. What we collect

Website visitors

  • Information you submit through the enquiry form: your name, email address, optional Discord handle, and the content of your message.
  • Standard technical information logged by our hosting provider, such as IP address, user agent and requested URL, used for security and to keep the site available.

PlatformSync users

  • Discord user IDs and Steam IDs, and the association between them. This is the core function of the product.
  • Role and permission changes applied by the service, retained as an operational record.
  • Configuration data supplied by the organisation operating the bot.

LnLMTR users

  • LnLMTR performs network diagnostics locally on your machine. Trace results, destinations and statistics stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Managed communities and events

  • Support tickets, moderation records and rule-enforcement decisions within the networks we manage on a client's behalf.
  • Participation details for events, for example team rosters and verified entrant lists.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and deliver the services a client has engaged us for;
  • operate and improve PlatformSync, LnLMTR and the internal systems that support them;
  • run and coordinate live events, including participant verification;
  • maintain security, prevent abuse and enforce community rules; and
  • meet legal, accounting and reporting obligations.

Where consent is the basis for processing, for example optional updates, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

4. What we share

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • the client whose community or event the information relates to, where we act as their operator;
  • service providers that host, deliver or secure our infrastructure, bound by contract to protect it;
  • platforms whose APIs are inherent to the service, such as Discord and Steam; and
  • authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: retained while a conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick a project back up.
  • Account links: retained for as long as the link is active, and deleted on request or when the organisation removes the integration.
  • Moderation and support records: retained for the duration of our engagement with the client, then handed over or deleted at their direction.
  • Financial records: retained for seven years, as Australian law requires.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we have no ongoing need or legal obligation to keep it. You can also opt out of any non-essential communications. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

If we hold information on behalf of a client, for example moderation records inside their community, we will direct your request to them and support them in answering it.

7. How we protect it

Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Data is encrypted in transit, credentials are managed through access-controlled systems, and we review permissions as part of our regular operational cadence. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects you we will tell you and the relevant regulator as required.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics we will update this section and note it in the changelog below before doing so.

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure and that of our providers may be located outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe, because the networks and events we support are global. Where information moves across borders we require providers to protect it to a standard consistent with this policy.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will also be communicated directly.

12. Contact us

Privacy enquiries, access requests and complaints: [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
